Gary, with a degree in Resource Management from the University of Colorado along with graduate studies in Business Administration and Management, has been involved with field services industry since 1983.
He managed the day-to-day operations of a regional service company focused on route services for six years before moving his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1989.Joining a larger, national company, Gary was involved in sales, product development, manufacturing and the creation of a nationwide field services division providing installation, break-fix repairs, and preventative maintenance service calls with coverage in all 50 states, Canada & Puerto Rico for retail photo processing companies. During the 15 years of overseeing the operation of this organization Gary grew and maintained profitability while handling 600-800 service requests per week.
In 2009, Gary was provided the spin-off opportunity to take over the organization he helped to create to become its co-owner, President and CEO. Since its creation, ARS Services has developed relationships in an expanding number of industries, developing, under Gary’s guidance, unique service profiles that specifically support equipment requirements in the digital signage, kiosk, inter-active displays, self-service dispensers and vending equipment, point of sale systems, fitness equipment, and electric vehicle charging stations industries. In addition to meeting consistent growth and expansion goals, the company has experienced steady profitability over an extended period of time. Training, experience, and a focus on the needs of the customer as well as the employee have been Gary’s keys to success.
Gary currently lives in Corrales, NM with his wife Jennifer their 2 dogs and cats along with a flock of chickens. They have two grown children and an increasing number of grandchildren.
Mark in now responsible for all Sales and Marketing for ARS Services. Previously Mark VP of Field Services, handling all aspects of the field service operations for several years for ARS Services. Mark joined Academy in 2006 after a productive career with:
(A) CPI Photo as Health & Safety Manager; (B) Fox Photo, Inc., its Senior Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak. Responsible for all Environmental, Health & Safety issues, in addition to handling risk management issues, managed corporate vehicles, repairs & maintenance for over 850 retail locations; (C) Wolf Camera, as Environmental Specialist with the primary responsibility of the silver recovery and single-use camera recycling programs, both of which had a 50% increase of returns during his management of the programs; and (D) Ritz Camera, their Environmental, Health & Safety Manager where Mark improved silver recovery returns and environmental compliance while reducing costs through the initiation of better training and management programs.
He also ran his own Handy-Man company for a period of time where he developed his abilities with hand tools and small job repair. While with Academy, Mark helped to develop a standardized program for service and training for all field service technicians resulting in an overall improvement of field operations. Mark lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia with his two grown children from where he enjoys regular trips to the lakes in northern New York near Saratoga Springs.
Chad Joined ARS in 2013 in the call center and has since been promoted from Call Center Supervisor to balancing two positions. Holding one position as a Project Manager, and the other as our infamous IT Manager. Prior to joining ARS Services, Chad holds 15 years of professional experience in Information Technology as a technician and IT Manager. Chad has an education from San Diego State University and Coleman College in Computer Networking Technology. Chad is both A+ and Apple certified. Chad has a love for sports and his favorite teams are the San Antonio Spurs and being a San Diego native, he still loves the Chargers, even if they moved to LA. Chad resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife Anjanette and their 2 dogs.
Alex’s history with ARS Services began in 2006 in the production and assembly of silver recovery canisters. He took some time away from the silver recovery business to study architecture at the University of New Mexico. After a few years working as a shift supervisor for Starbucks, Alex was brought on at ARS Services as a field technician where he learned how to provide field support services to a large variety of ARS customers.
His first promotion with ARS was to bring his field expertise into the ARS Technical Support Call Center team where he demonstrated a natural ability to work with customers and field technicians together in developing quick and accurate completion of each service call. Due to this ability he was quickly promoted to be Call Center Supervisor where he successfully managing the entire Call Center staff along with all customer product lines supported by ARS. As a result of his excellent attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and an understanding of the entire job process, Alex was promoted to Project Manager in Dec 2014. Alex lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his pit bull, Mojo, and a few roommates.
Randy, VP of Sales for our Division, Evinmotion. Based out of our Midwest office, he joined the Sales team to help lead sales and business planning. Randy started at Academy in 1983 until 2010 when it was sold to Materion. He handled National accounts for Materion which included Boston Scientific, Medtronics, and Honeywell until 2019.
With an extensive background in sales and marketing, combined with 35+ years of professional sales experience. He has developed new territories and divisions in both industries, as well as assisted in the success of new business development within companies, increasing revenue throughout. Randy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Management studies.
Bill has worked for many technology companies throughout his career history. All of his careers have revolved around technology, customer service, and customer satisfaction. At Verizon Wireless, he was a Quality Assurance Manager, where he ensured all customers were receiving exemplary service on each interaction. At the Walt Disney Company, he held many roles ranging from website and technical support to client support. The WDC showed him the value of the customer and how they achieved strong brand loyalty. Afni, Inc. provided Bill the opportunity to supervise a nationwide team as the Centralized Quality Supervisor. In his most recent role, he was the Operations Manager for Xpodigital, which is a digital sign and technology company. He oversaw the support team and all of the installation projects the company did each year. The support team had a 99.9% satisfaction rate from their clients.
Although Bill is new to the ARS Services team, he is excited to work with the team and the clients. He hopes to bring some fresh ideas and is willing to assist with any projects.
Bill has a Bachelor of English Language and Literature and Masters of English from Southern New Hampshire University.
Bill currently lives in Leesburg, FL with his wife Amy and his daughter Sydney. They have a menagerie of animals including a dog and four cats. Bill and his family enjoy visiting the theme parks and traveling.
